Avalanche at Palisades Tahoe - Winter Storm Warning in Lake Tahoe

Winter is officially here and residents and visitors are advised to be on full alert when traveling and engaging in winter sports. News hit this morning that an avalanche occured around 9:30 AM at Palisades Tahoe. According to the Tahoe Daily Tribune, "Palisades Patrol and Mountain Operations Team is currently conducting a search following an avalanche that occurred around 9:30 a.m. The avalanche impacted the Palisades side of the resort above the GS Gulley area of KT-22...Palisades Tahoe has closed both sides of the mountain for the day, according to their post on X, formerly called Twitter."
